NortheastForestry University (NEFU) is currently one of the "211 Project" universities affiliated to the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic ofChina, which is founded in 1952 at Harbin, the beautiful ice city. The College of Life Science is established in 2003, engaged in teaching and scientific researches. It runs the national training centers for life science, technology, and education, as well as basic sciences and education in biology for undergraduates. The College possesses the Ph.D Program and the research station for post-doctorates of the first-class biology disciplines of Heilongjiang Province, and 11 major biological areas for education including Developmental Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Forest Biological Engineering, Plant Nutrition, and so on.
The College offers positions of Associate Professor and Full Professor for the following scientific areas on animal or plant:
1 Molecular Biology
2 Cell Biology
3 Genetics
4 Developmental Biology
5 Biochemistry
6 Microbiology
7 Botany or Advanced Plant Evolutionary Biology
8 Physiology
Application Requirements:
Applicants should have a doctor degree.
Applicants are supposed to have a foreign research experience for more than three years, and maintain advanced levels in their disciplines (SCI papers published with first or corresponding author).
As this recruitment aims at selecting outstanding young and middle-aged scholars, applicants under the age of 45 years will be given priority.
Stipend packages and academic environment:
The positions come with a competitive salary by special talent policy. The detailed salary and research start-up fund is negotiable. There will also be compensated housing and some requisite conditions for research. The outstanding scholar will be recommended as a candidate for One Thousand Talents Scheme, Yangtze River Scholar Scheme, or National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists.
