专业特长:
植物分子遗传,植物功能基因组学,植物次生代谢调控,合成生物学。
研究经验和研究领域:
实验室以植物次生细胞壁主要成分木质素(lignin)为主要研究对象,利用拟南芥等模式植物进行机制研究,探索木质素合成调控对于植物发育和植物对环境适应性的影响。同时,我们将这些基础研究的成果,快速转化到实际应用中,通过调控木质素合成,实现农作物和林木品质的提升。主要应用方向为:(1)油料作物:主要是适宜东北地区极端严寒气候的轮作油料作物菥蓂(又名“油钱草”Pennycress);(2)高品质饲草:主要是紫花苜蓿(Alfalfa);(3)木本植物:包括杨树、红松、木本油料植物等。
